It’s summer once again, kids gets excited to join the Daily Vacation Bible School. Ring a bell or not? DVBS happens to be every summer. We gather kids in different areas and teach them Bible Stories(specifically who Jesus is) just like Sunday school but it is for a week. I remembered when I was a kid, I always get excited for this mini event, coz I got to receive awards and learn new songs. We always encourage these young ones to join so they will learn more of Jesus and they will grow rightly in the Lord.
So, we had a successful DVBS at Cogon Pardo from May 23-27. We had this so late due to other church activities but it won’t stop us! haha. Thank you to all the volunteer teachers (Ate Nina, Franco, Nathalie, Adriel, me, myself&I,mama plus with the support of my papa, andrew, nante, Johnrey intann, tresha and jam). Sorry wasn’t able to take pictures with the teachers, they’re too busy. 🙂
Special thanks to ate Marissa and the rest of the mothers who cooked and served the food, to papa who sponsored the snacks from Monday to Friday, to Burlos who always cleans the church right after the class, to LCA church for paying the materials, to our pastors thank you for visiting us and to those people whom their presence were there to support us.
Thank you to everyone who has been willingly helped this DVBS successful. Our labor will not be in vain, that is for sure. And thank you Lord we all survived from Day 1 to day 5 then straight to work (kaway-kaway sa mga graveyard diha). This always reminds me “If it is your passion, you will NEVER get tired of doing this.” Praise the Lord!!!
Here are the pictures and enjoy the faces of these little kiddos:
The twins, so serious in answering the activity. Buotana ah! 🙂
We let them bring notebooks to write on the Bible verses every single day and let them memorize it.
Mother dearest(the principal haha), letting the kids memorize the Bible verses. Thank you mama for always initiating this kind of event. From prepping of materials, to handling classes and snacks preparation.

To my ministry partner, salamat kaayu. Salamat sa mga pictures ug pag-ampo.

Awardees for Best in memory verse.
What a successful day! THANK YOU TO ALL VOLUNTEERS. GOD WILL SURELY BLESS YOU. THANK YOU LORD FOR YOUR PRESENCE THAT HAS ALWAYS BEEN WITH US.
I always agree and lean to the Word of God:
Proverbs 22:6 – Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Be part of that change. One child, one DVBS experience, one teacher, one Bible verse can change a life of a kid. Even if they are still young, JESUS is at work! Spread Jesus, tell them about Jesus ! Happiness all over! 🙂
GOD BLESS EVERYONE!
